My Story

Hello and welcome to my online Change Lead Academy course! My journey has been a unique blend of experiences spanning across continents, industries, and disciplines, all of which have shaped my approach to change management and digital transformation.

I am from the UK, but for the past eight years, I've been fortunate to call Sweden my home. My career began in the UK with a business management software and consultancy firm, where I gained invaluable insights into the corporate world. However, life had different plans for me, and I took a significant turn when my father fell ill. This led me to step away from the technology sector to establish a rehabilitation center for individuals with chronic health conditions.

Leveraging best practices from the tech and corporate sectors, I designed scalable behavioral intervention programs that became highly popular in local hospitals and doctor's surgeries.

During this period, I also became involved in multiple EU research projects and had the honor of guest lecturing at several universities on behavioral change and intervention methodologies. This experience not only deepened my understanding of human behavior but also ignited a passion for driving change on a larger scale.

When I moved to Sweden, the corporate world was undergoing massive digital disruptions. It was the perfect time to merge my health sector insights with enterprise transformation strategies. I found myself at the heart of digital transformation efforts, helping large organizations navigate the complexities of change.

Currently, I work with the Digital Transformation Office at Volvo Group, where I support the Digital & IT Strategy function to drive organizational change management and implement new operating models. My role involves crafting strategies that ensure smooth transitions and sustainable change across the organization.

​

Before joining Volvo, I spent over five years at HCL Technologies, where I held various roles, including Global Manager of the Organizational Change Team. There, I was responsible for architecting a robust OCM framework, leading numerous global enterprise transformations, and growing the team exponentially. My efforts impacted hundreds of thousands of employees, demonstrating the power of effective change management.

Throughout my career, I have led and supported change management initiatives in 30+ enterprise organizations, for a diverse range of industries, including global food and beverage distribution, telecommunications, retail, and more. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of how to manage change in different contexts and cultures.

​

Academically, I hold a Master's degree in International Business Management from ESCP Business School, and I have completed specialized programs in leading change during times of disruption from MIT and studied Six Sigma and Lean methodologies from the Technical University of Munich.

My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in strategy, leadership, and digital transformation.

This blend of hands-on experience and academic knowledge is what I bring to this course. My goal is to equip you with practical tools and strategies that you can apply to drive successful change in your organization. I believe that understanding human behavior and fostering a culture of adaptability are key to thriving in today's fast-paced digital world.
